RULES

Trophy Manager is a free game. The only thing we ask of our players is that they abide by the TM rules below. If you encounter someone who is breaking the rules, please send an in-game private message (PM) to a Game Teamster (GT).

Punishment

Players who break the TM Rules risk immediate exclusion from Trophy Manager. Please note that only Master Teamsters (MTs) and Game Teamsters (GTs) have the authority to make such decisions. All decisions are final.

The Eight TM Rules

When thou playest Trophy Manager, thou shall not...:

  • ...post private messages, TM mail, press announcements, forum posts or any other form of expressions, be they visual or textual, containing offensive, hateful, racist or illegal content, this goes for communication towards game teamsters or Trophy Manager employees as well. This specifically includes expressions which targets religion, race or gender. It is also by no means allowed to spam anyone or anything in Trophy Manager.
  • ...in any way 'cheat'. This includes, amongst other things: possessing more than one team, exploiting bugs, trading players for non-market prices with your friends, attempting to manipulate the game by entering commands or the like of it in your browser window etc. Examples of punishable bug abuse are: Spending huge, unexpected amounts of money suddenly found in your finances (obvious bug) or continuously refreshing pages to obtain extra money from the FITA License without reporting it.
  • ...attempt to steal, sabotage or manipulate any part of TM at all, this includes, amongst other things: the teams, account information and team logos of other players, the TM software, servers and all copyright protected material, which includes pictures, graphics and site design.
  • ...attempt to ruin the game for anyone else in any way.
  • ...automate the game in any way. You're not allowed to use any kind of program to 'scan' Trophy Manager. Parts of the site may not be included on other web sites or in other programs. Nor is it allowed to use or distribute any third party software which automates any part of the game, unless you have an agreement with TM first.
  • NB: The TM team would very much indeed like to participate in the development of relevant third party software, which can be TM licensed and made into official add-ons.
  • ...attempt to get, send or manipulate data from, to or on the TM servers. The only way you are allowed to navigate the site is by using the on-site links, unless the TM Team says otherwise.
  • ...possess more than one team. It it also forbidden to control an extra team using the name or email of a friend or relative. The person who takes care of, read: logs in to, the team counts as it's owner - it doesn't matter who set up the team in the first place. Noone but you may login to your team, it is strictly private. Last, but not least, it is not allowed to give away your team to another person. The reason for this is, that giving away favorable positions in the league system is unfair to all those teams who have made an effort battling up the ladder.
  • ...act against common football logic. For example you may not deliberately reduce your squad to less than 20 players, ruin the economy of your club etc. Along the way behavior like this will be regulated automatically, but until then please take care not to act in a way that NO real life manager would do. Nor may you trade in-game favours for Pro donations or real life money.
  • People below 18 needs their parents' permission to play if local law requires it. Trophy Manager does not allow people below 13 to play if they are subject to the laws of the United States.

The Transfer Rules

Good players and money are central aspects in Trophy Manager, which makes it very important that no teams benefit from abnormal activities on the transfer market. This means that all bids should be in relevance to what could be considered reasonable for the player in question. If they are not, it is normal practice to remove the excess money. Remember, it's not only prohibited to have several teams but also to "help" friends or family by buying players at inflated prices. The Game Teamsters are fully authorized to cancel or adjust abnormal prices, hand out fines to teams or even ban the users involved.

The Divine Clause

The TM Team has the authority to deal with all situations not specifically covered by the rules in accordance with the spirit of the rules.

Have Fun With TM!

Have fun with TM and remember to play fair in TM as you would in real life!
