Currently Australia and New Zealands first divisions are played in the new live match viewer. Join us there, go to their league and click a tv in one of the matches from today.
We have decided to change the odds game a bit. It will now reset every 2 weeks, and prize structure will adjust accordingly:
1: 2 Months TM PRO
2-5: 2 Weeks TM PRO
6-15: 5 Days TM PRO
Hopefully this will boost interest a bit.
Next edition will start next week.

We are working hard to create a live match viewer.
And willl be ready with a livematch betaversion within the next few days. Basically its gonna be the current matches stretched over 90 minutes, but on the matchpage you will have a chat with your fellow division managers and livescores update and live league table.\\n\\n(http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/8294/livekampsu0.jpg) I planned on starting a betatest in some of the active 1st divisions and would like to hear if you had any interest in participating in this. It will most likely be a little buggy to begin with.

Yes it is correct! It is finally here.
As of today you will be able to make bids for players who are not on the transfer list. All players will be available for bidding like in real life, however each club also has the possibility to block incoming bids for certain players by setting the player as \"not for sale\" or setting an asking price where all bids below it will be auto-rejected.
So now go find the players you always wanted, make bids, start negotiations, interact, scout to get intel before the player is put on auction and get a first-mover advantage on player auctions when your bids are accepted.
You can read more about it in the manual here: http://trophymanager.com/userguide.php?show=08¶graph=3
Enjoy!

After the past two weeks of performance work, our servers are starting to cheer up. We have used this opportunity to implement the Who Is Online feature. Will appear in people clubhouses soon as well.
This was actually a first step for a shout-out box (virtual/friendly league style) on the league page for each group.
I\'ve finally ventured into the scary world of java and implemented a few fixes in the match engine:
- Medical center finally works as intended: You\'ll get a chance (increasing with Med center level) of a 2 game injury reduction.
- Injury reduction bug fixed: Judging from the 13 timezone, this works beautifully, but I\'ve of course taken the necessary precautions to do a complete check after all matches have finished.
Next up will be to \'un-sandbox\' NT matches.

Després de fer una feinada considerable, l\'equip de traducció de Català ha acabat la traducció de TM. Si voleu podeu canviar l\'idioma actual al Català anant a \"settings\" en anglès o \"configuración\" en castellà, al menú inferior.

As injured players can still participate in NT matches, and suspension still doesn\'t reduce properly, we\'re considering running the remainder of the NT season in a sort of sandbox mode: NT\'s would by this be able to ignore injuries when setting the line up and all suspensions would be removed after each round.
Any opinions?

New changes in the training scripts might delay training this night.

When the 10% transfer taxation arrives next season we will give a deduction to clubs who sell home grown players. If you sell a home grown player you will only pay a 5% tax - not 10%. When a player who has been pulled from a club\'s academy is sold for the first time FITA will grant a 5% deduction to the 10% transfer tax making it 5% effectively.
We hope this will make up for the penalty suffered by youth academy-focused clubs after the wages have started updating each week. We recognize that the wage-change wasn\'t entirely fair to clubs with a youth academy strategy and hope this will go a long towards compensating for the wage change.
The intention behind the 10% tax was never to impede clubs with a youth academy strategy, but to reduce the inflation and the profitability of trading, trading and trading.
Sincerely
The HQ

Due to all the changes our database are undergoing at the moment, the training is running late. It will finish for the last clubs sometime late this evening.

A few players have been hit by data corruption when cleaning up in the player database. This will be straightened out tomorrow.

Today you will suffer somewhat heavy lagging. I am restructuring some more data to improve performance during matches.

FITA has announced, due to the ever increasing administration costs from managing player certificates and etc., that they plan to impose a transfer tax of 10% by the start of season 12.
FITA will spend the money trying to develop football in 3rd world countries such as England, Norway and Denmark so they will have a higher chance of reaching the European Championsships in 2020.
This means that from next season if you sell a player for 200.000.000 a tax of 20.000.000 will be deducted from the transfer.

Before wage was recalculated when a player was transferred or in each season break. To increase performance we have decided to run with floating wages, meaning after each training the wage will now fit the asi of the player.

We are changing the data structure with player names. This will have a few consequences in the next couple of hours/days.
You might see numbers appear instead of the names, players will still keep their original names dont worry. If there is places I miss to make the change you will see a number where a player name should appear, please let me know here.

Unfortunately the changes in the database server has caused a bug in the national matches from yesterday. We are looking into it, but it has not yet been decided how we will handle it, as we do not want teams with players on the national teams to get sudden injuries (for example if we play the matches tomorrow).

Once again TM has been an inspiration to modern football. FIFA has adopted the Trophy Manager foreigner rule just now.
You can read more about it at fifas homepage:
http://www.fifa.com/aboutfifa/federation/bodies/media/newsid=783663.html#yes+wada+code

While waiting for the new webserver I have thrown myself towards the database server to optimize the structure. This will result in various backup pages being shown as Im restructuring a lot of the table to hopefully increase performance. The new matchengine (who is now closer than never to release, will help a lot on performance during matchtime as well).

There have been some mixed signals after we introduced our new payment system. We are now offering local bank transfers meaning users can pay to a TM bank account in their own country without the fees of international bank transfers. However not all countries have this option available. The following countries have local bank transfers available:
Europe
Austria
Belgium
Bulgaria
Croatia (not yet, but will come later)
Czech Rep.
Denmark
Estonia
Finland
France
Germany
Greece
Hungary
Iceland
Italy
Ireland
Latvia
Lithuania
Luxembourg
Netherlands
Norway
Poland
Portugal
Romania
Russia
Slovakia
Slovenia
Spain
Sweden
Switzerland (not yet, but will come later)
Turkey
United Kingdom
North and South America
Argentina
Brazil (not yet, but will come later)
Canada
Chile
Mexico
USA
Asia and Oceania
Australia
China
Hong Kong
Indonesia
Japan
New Zealand
Phillippines
Singapore
South Africa
All other countries can still use bank transfer and transfer the amount to the shown international bank account displayed on the payment site.

A bug on the Pro payment site causing more than 100 countries not being able to pay via Paypal has been solved. Everyone should now be able to use Paypal again.

Thanks to all the diamond and tm pro acquirerings we are able to afford a new webserver. We expect it to be up within this week. Hopefully it should be able to solve any performance problems for the next couple of months :)

Two small-scale bugs have been hunted down and killed off: The \"search-for-staff-for-free\" and \"squad-sorting-by-hidden-skills\" bugs are now KIA. may they RIP.

I have finally gotten some time off my hands after having complete a lot of backend things such as payment systems and various administrative things.
I will be using this time to work with the following things for the match engine.
1) Playerstats - tackles won/lost
2) Playerstats - passes complete/incomplete
3) People with poor ability in a finishing type will recieve a penalty when getting such a chance. In the match report you will see new texts such as \"John Smith tried to connect to a header, but his horrible timing made it look so pathetic that 335 spectators left the stadium in dismay\".
4) Intelligent assists. If you play an extremely slow ML he wont have as many crosses, but instead try to create other types of assists such as shortpassing or longballs.
5) Your assists will try to exploit your attackers strengths when creating chances. If you play with Jan Koller up front, he will get more headers. If you play with his dwarf twin brother Pete Koller he will get less headers.
These aspects should make tactics more influential, make it a little bit harder for the worst teams to beat the best.

It\'s time to launch another attack on the too frequent bugs in transfer. The solution we\'ve arrived at is very simple: Money will no longer be taken when registering a bid. Instead, this will be handled after the transfer has expired and the trade is finalized.
As a consequence, I\'ve made the necessary changes, preventing cash going negative, to other pages where a manager can spend money: Including signing of youngsters, recruiting coaches/scouts, and expanding stadium sections/facilities.
To implement all this I\'ve returned the money from all current bids/agents and postponed all transfers expiring the next few hours by 24 hours. Also, making a bid while work on this is in progress will not be possible. Bidding should be possible again in an hour or so. I\'ll update here.
